Hey! I'm Nesakan, a sophomore student with a deep passion for visual storytelling and creative technology. Whether it's cutting a cinematic video, crafting a clean UI, or building a website from scratch — I love making things look and feel great.

I believe good design is about communication. My goal is to blend aesthetics with function, creating work that's not just beautiful but meaningful.

Currently exploring the intersection of motion design, web interactivity, and storytelling. Always learning, always building.

Programming Languages

These are the languages I've picked up so far — some I'm still learning, some I'm pretty comfortable with.

Intermediate
My strongest language so far. I use it for scripting, automation, and small projects. Comfortable with core concepts like OOP, file handling, and libraries.

Basic
Got introduced to Java through college. Know the fundamentals — classes, loops, methods — still building on it.

C / C++
Basic
Started here, like most CS students. Learned the basics of memory, pointers, and logic. More academic than practical for me right now.

Web Development

This is where I spend most of my time. Building things for the browser is my jam.

Comfortable
The foundation of everything I build. I can structure pages cleanly and style them from scratch — responsive layouts, animations, the works.

Comfortable
I can make pages actually do things — DOM manipulation, event handling, animations. jQuery helps me move faster with less code.

My go-to when I need to build something fast. Grid system, components, utilities — I know my way around it well.

Can handle simple server-side stuff — forms, sessions, basic CRUD with a database. Still learning the backend side of things.

The other half of me — the part that edits videos at 2am and obsesses over font choices.

Cuts, colour grading, sound design, motion text — I've been doing this for a while and it's probably what I enjoy most.

Clean layouts, visual hierarchy, and knowing when something just doesn't look right. Figma is my main tool.
